I went out of the country for 2 weeks and left my phone at home so of course it went dead. I am trying to charge it and power it on and it wont d anything. I need help!! I have tried taking the battery out and replacing it and trying to charge it and it wont. I need help please!!

Help Evo wont turn on

How long has it been on the charger? It may take awhile to start charging. It also may not take a charge at all, if it was let to discharge completely. I suspect that if you leave it on the charger for several hours it will start to charge. Do you have an extra battery you can try?
Just as an FYI, it uses the same battery as the HTC Hero, just in case you have one of those.

There is a known issue with the battery going dead so much that the phone cannot detect and charge it. Go to the store and they will zap it with their charger which will revive it.
