Help EvoV4g redirects to Virgin Mobile site using 3g/4g

My HTC Evo V 4g keeps redirecting me to the Virgin Mobile website no matter what website (except Google itself for some reason) I surf to, and email and other mobile data doesn't work properly (except on wifi). I'm a new customer and my bill is paid, there's been a bit of an outage here but elsewhere I get enough bars that it should work then. I've made two phone calls to their customer service and no joy. I need some sort of resolution or I'll have to return the phone and probably leave Virgin Mobile.

I had this problem. It's not an outage. Call VM, they'll update your PRL. This fixed my issue.

had the same thing called vm numerous times they reset things on their end popped out the battery and a few mins later I was good to go called for 2 days.

Had the same issue, they had to reset my account then everything worked after a battery pull.

Did you try this:

Dial ##25327#

tap MENU>RESET

Click OK

Click OK when it asks if you want to reset the phones's network settings and still retain your personal information

Phone will then reboot and reprogram itself.

Not positive that will work, but it won't hurt.

That didn't work. I had to call customer service and get them to do something on their end while I removed the battery and rebooted.
