EVP Delivery Dates

Mine is still processing when I track it on Sprint's website.....

Does the tracking email come separately from EVP?

When it ships, a tracking number will appear on the right side of the screen of the Sprint site.

Why I chose EVP and not BB or RS, etc. I thought EVP was a dept. within sprint corp. offices, which verified the EVP discount offer and sold phones. I later found out when speaking with sprint CSR this week that EVP was in fact "NationLink Wireless" no diff. than any other 3rd party sprint retailer. I considered canceling my order when I found this out and going to BB but was worried if things went wrong at this late date I might find myself waiting longer or hassled over the cancellation / return of the EVP order.

This is why EVP ( NationLink Wireless ) couldn't ship phones before June 4th, because they are just another retailer. BB is just another retailer too, who is selling phones on the release date no diff. than any other retailer / sprint corp. store, etc.

But BB offered perks to get your buss. like a free bluetooth head set and instant rebate along with 25% off any item. Not that I couldn't buy any item for less off the internet but they offered. what special offers did we get from EVP ? NOTHING!!!

I made a big mistake using EVP and it won't happen again. I'm waiting 4 days longer and then 10-12 wks. for rebate. ( if they don't try to screw me out of that, as rebates go )

I called BB and Radio shack today, both were sold out and didn't know when they would have EVO's avail.

lesson learned...

Received shipping / tracking # from EVP. UPS shows a Tue. del. ( My UPS person will prob. keep it for himself like he did my Garmin Nuvi NAV and claim it was del. so I might end up really screwed)

I spoke with a guy June 4 that got his EVO from BB along with all the other perks. He said it was easy, in and out. They set everything up, format the SD card, gave him his FREE bluetooth head set etc. and he was on his way.

Sprint should make it clear that EVP is not employed by sprint and can not offer anything diff. then any other retailer. Most people wouldn't have placed a pre order with them if this info. was known.

I don't have a problem with 3rd party retailers, many companies use this sales method. My problem is with sprints web site using EVP as if they are part of sprints office setting up your discount and oh we can handle your pre order also if you would like to take care of everything right now. Kind of misleading...

Just my .02 Now you know as I do when your next upgrade rolls around just run down to your local sprint,BB,RS store and place your pre order.

I'm starting to regret my EVP order. They said both our Evo's would ship today, but they are still listed as processing, coming up on 11:15pm Friday night. So I really doubt I will get the phones Monday like I was told. Mandy also emailed me the rebate forms, but they are for the wrong phones and expire 6/5/10.

Well I wasn't sure about Saturday delivery and between Sprint and UPS telling me different things I am just glad I canceled and went to the Sprint store. But UPS did try saying it had to come from Sprint warehouse then UPS doesn't usually sort till night time so if it goes out Mondayone day in transit on a buisness day is Tues. But I see where someone said there's shipped from Louisville at 5:15 today which is where I live so I wonder when mine would of showed up. Oh well I am just glad to have it. Me and my friend love it. I haven't had much time to play with it though.

I've been shipped! :D

Hi Jeff -

If you did indeed get the wrong forms, you can download the PDF rebate form here:

Sprint Nextel | Mail-in Rebates from Sprint

Just be sure to include your shipping invoice with the form when you mail it in. Don't worry about the 6/5/2010 on the "offers end" - this is the reason you need the shipping invoice because it shows you ordered the phone before 6/5. Also you can see on the 1st page under the "Devices" header the EVO is the 3rd device on the list. Sorry about your bad experience

Well... this was my first order through EVP. I work for Intel and figured I would give it a try since we receive a discount.

I am a new customer to Sprint - been with T-Mobile for 4 years and on the Android platform for almost 3.

I am very excited about the new phone especially since my T-Mobile G1 just bit the bucket and won't turn on.

When I ordered the phone I was told they would more than likely be not only receiving but shipping the phone early - possibly as early as last Wednesday. I now know this was a lie to get me to fork over the credit card number. I asked the question... if the phone doesn't ship early will you definitely be shipping the phone on Friday? "Yes, yes... of course". So, I assumed Monday at the latest because I paid an additional $12 for overnight shipping via UPS.

Well... today is Friday. Release day and supposed shipping day. It sounds like most people's phones did ship, aside from a small few. My order shows as processing. Sprint tells me the order is processing and was marked for pickup but it has not shipped yet. Well, it is now 2AM MST and I think UPS would have already picked up and processed by now.

So, unless they scheduled a bunch for pickup on Saturday which I highly doubt since they don't even hold weekend hours it looks like my phone will ship Monday at the earliest with a delivery time of Tuesday if they didn't screw the shipping up too.

Had I of known that the phone wasn't going to ship today I would have picked it up at Sprint. Here's the good part... I called a Sprint store at almost 7 PM MST and they still had a phone available - even said they would reserve it if I came in. But, when they saw the previous order they wouldn't let me buy it. And, Sprint wouldn't cancel the order since it is "processing" and EVP of course is not 24 hours so they were no help.

I did two live chats... one this morning and one this afternoon. I was assured both times that not only was the phone definitely shipping today but that I would have not only a confirmation but also tracking information as well. It is 2:05 am here and although I have confirmation and although I was billed I still do not have a valid tracking number or any sort of explanation for what is going on or when the phone will arrive.

I am beginning to wonder if they don't have enough phones to cover the orders and are now processing the orders and waiting for another shipment.

I was excited when I ordered the phone and service through EVP and looking forward to the relationship with them and sprint. However, the experience I have had so far is not looking promising. My only hope is that something turns around for the better and they get their act together or I will definitely not be doing business with them in the future. My wife was excited to switch from T-Mobile to Sprint and try a new phone and service. If she does now though, I won't reccomend she use EVP.

Wow.. Sorry you had to go through that. Once I realized they were shipping on Friday I cancelled. I woke up at 5am and got to radioshack at 5:30am. I was the first person there, a few more people arrived but it wasnt crazy. RS had a total of 7 phones left outside of preorders, me and my g/f were able to get two. One for her and one for my friend. The Evo's came out to $216 and change.

I wasn't up for an upgrade so after we got theirs, I went to a mall here and got there around 7am. It felt like I was in that zombie movie where they were in the empty mall. The mall was empty of course b/c of the time. However two guys were waiting, and have been waiting there from 5am in the mall for sprint to open. Finally Sprint opens at 8am and they tell us it

You're not alone. This is exactly what I thought, and feel I was led to believe. I finally discovered my discount can be applied afterwards no matter where I order. When I asked EVP about this they said they apply the discount faster. Again talking to Sprint they said they (Corporate Sprint) have become very quick at his now, usually applying it with one bill. In fact they said with the right info it can be done at a retail, BB, RS, etc., although I didn't try it.

In addition the $25 discount EVP offers doesn't even offset the $36 activation fee that isn't applied ordering online. Add a second non-EVO and EVP costs more. It seems like even the shipping is turning out to be the same as ordering online.

Get this... to add insult to injury... I find out this morning from tracking "my" EVO package on the UPS website that it's been shipped to Florida. Which is great... except I live in Chicago.

So either EVP shipped it to the wrong place or they sent me someone else's confirmation number.

Another big win for EVP!

Well I received my tracking number and the phone is about 45 min away from me at UPS Boston, the question is will they deliver today????

Thanks for the rebates :) I hoping the Evo's come before the new iphone releases. My partner is an iphone fanatic, and if the new iphone comes out before we get the evos, he will probably just renew with Att and that will be that.

you should tell him about the new 2GB data limit at&t is going to impose on all smartphones. that'll prolly make him switch....just a heads up.

Oh I'm well aware of it. He is more of that typical blind sheep you think of when anything apple is made. But, fortunately, AT&T will grandfather any current iphone customer (we own 2 3gs's) into the same 30.00 unlimited (5gb cap) plan we are currently on if we get new iphones.

Oh how I hope our phones arrive soon. I know he will like the more adult nature of the Android os, he has never used it, I have. I'm tired of my iphones childish interface. But it, in my opinion, is the easiest, most though out of any mobile os.

this whole find an evo thing has been a whole bunch of fail for me.....so i canceled the evp order, only to reorder one on sprint's website....knowing my luck, the sprint store will call tomorrow and be like...that 2nd shipment came in today...you can come pick yours up. smh.

wow...i jinxed myself literally....the sprint store just called and advised they got a shipment in and had one for me waiting at the store......after i put in another order last night. i knew i should have waited. ugh!

I too finally got my confirmation number from EVP but when I enter it on Sprint's website, it doesn't show a tracking number. Clearly it didn't ship yesterday, which means I'd get it on Tuesday at the earliest. Ugh...

Well,
I paid for overnight shipping, but it's only shipping ground...
I am NOT happy with EVP.

I don't care about waiting for it....I am just not happy that I paid for a service that I did not recieve.

FYI...mine should be here on Monday.
