Ex-Sprinter SIM Card Newb

Yay, I think. It arrived, it charged, it ported my number and my PC shows the SD. It was able to almost replicate my eensy Optimus, even though this one has 2.3.6 over 2.3.3. With that and the screen being a hair bigger, that makes it an upgrade.
 
The only thing that frets me, so far, is having only the power button to wake it up. It only has that and the volume toggle, and that doesn’t wake it. To wake the Optimus, I could hit any of about six hardware buttons, no danger of being set adrift.

That and my ancient ShootMe non-root screenshot app doesn’t work after this tiny OS leap.
 
The manual provides one choice:
Unlocking the Screen
1. Press (power button icon) to wake up the screen.

And oddly, there is a built-in SD folder named Screen Capture, but no related app, so I will go hunting.

If that’s the only two problems I can come up with...
 
It was a promotion for customers with Straight Talk, but not yet using Auto Refill. I was already using Auto Refill at the time, so I did not qualify. (No longer with Straight Talk now anyhow). And the offer was for a limited time.

I contacted Straight Talk about the discount for auto refill, and was told there is no discount.
Maybe I'll cancel auto refill and wait for them to offer me a discount to reinstate it.
