Excel like program for HTC desire

i am looking for some excel like program to
record stuff and do calculations and all..

the only thing I found is easyexcel but screen touching it is't really good.
so anyone know of a cool excel like widget i can download?

Don't know of any widgets for that but have you tried Documents to Go? It has "sheet to go" which is able to write and read .xls documents.

is it free and can be found in the market?
i'll give a go and see whether it suits my needs.

Sadly documents to go is not free. But its worth paying for if you want xls or any microsoft word documents on an android phone. There is a free version not sure but I think it only lets you view the files and not write to them. The touch interface seems good to me but I've gotten used to typing on small keyboards. I use it for keeping a grade book for my students.
