Help Exchange ActiveSync

the above should be taken with a grain and not sold off as the complete truth across the board...

i do not know about Exchange 2010.. i only know about 2003 SP2...

the company i use Exchange with has tight policies in place. they are able to remote wipe the EVO (as well as other policies) should they need too. before froyo you could only do numeric passwords, now you can do alpha and numeric.

back in October 2009 right as android released the hero and droid (moto), the company i use exchange with REQUIRED android users to either: remove Async from the stock android client or use Touchdown. they recommended touchdown for its security and that it was able to have policies pushed.

now touchdown, in my case, is no longer needed since 2.2 is now able to push more policies that was available on 2.1.

my experience is with a htc touch pro (original), the touch pro2 (which i still use), the htc hero and now the evo.

so this is not a blanket issue across all Exchange severs and environments. its unfortunate some of you cant get this working properly just yet, however there are many, many people who do not use forums who are having great success with Exchange on android....

You are correct.

I just tried deleting an email on my droid and yes within a few seconds it is removed from outlook on my computer.
