Exchange client deleting email on server

Connecting to my Exchange server at work with the default client.

When I delete an email on the phone, I JUST want it removed from the phone, NOT the server.

I don't see a way to specify this in the default client? Am I missing something?

Exchange Server works on the server not your local machine what ever you are using.
The emails you see are on the server, so deleting them from any device is removing them from the server.
