Hi.
No this is not one of those 'how do I have different notifications for sms and email' threads!
My problem is this;
I was having some problems with my Desire S so I did a factory reset. Before doing so I backed up with MyBackUpPro.
After the factory reset, I restored from mybackuppro and got everything back as it was, including my exchange email.
This is when I noticed a few problems.
1. The notification sound when I receive an email is the 'alpha' sound (first one on the list), not the guitar 2 sound that I have selected and the one that sounds whenever I get other notifications. WHY???!!! Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone solved it? I have done another factory reset to try and fix it, but it hasn't worked. No matter what default notification sound I set, the exchange email always uses 'alpha'. HELP!
2. All of my exchange contacts appear twice in my contact list. The phone automatically links them, but it's not right. When I go to edit a contact, their phone number, email address, address etc all appear twice. Once again, anyone else have this problem?
None of the above things were a problem before the factory reset.
I have dropped the phone a few times recently, which may explain it. Although it works perfectly well.
Any help would be great!
