Help Exchange inbox - updating problems

So I hooked up my work email to my DInc Exchange. It works fine....can send and receive emails, calendar, etc.

The only problem is it doesn't automatically update the inbox when a new email comes in. I went under Settings > Send & Receive > Set download frequency. It is set to "Manual". I change it to "As items arrive" and then exit out. Go back in and its back to "Manual"

So what am I doing wrong??

I don't need you guys! I figured it out on my own!

Went to Home Page > Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync

Auto-sync was unchecked. Checked that and now my email auto updates as well as the weather application that had stopped updating also.
