Since yesterday my email app doesnt show new mails anymore and i get a force close message every 2 minutes.

The Application Exchange Services (process com.android.exchange) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

I deleted everything in settings --> apps

Now i dont get the message anymore, but cant use the mailapp either. When I configure my mail again I just get the same problem. So now I use a crappy mail app with no notification which uses a browser design.


Could any1 help me with this problem?

You could try it with another email account to see if it's something in your configuration settings that is causing the problem. It sounds as if it's getting an error when it checks your mail an crashes. But I'm not getting that behavior in my email, it works fine on both accounts I've set up.
Create a hotmail account if you don't already have one https://signup.live.com/signup.aspx?
and then add the account in the email app (probably best to delete the account that is causing problems). The good thing about a hotmail account is that the email app can auto configure it. You can send yourself emails from your other accounts to the hotmail account to check if it's working ok.

That will tell you if it is a problem with your account configuration or a problem with the app or perhaps a conflict with another app (although I think that is unlikely).
Maybe something has changed on the email server for the account that is causing problems?

Im using a hotmail account and it worked flawless for the 4 months that I own this tablet. I tried sending a mail to it, but it wont load new mails. The weird thing is that I didnt changed anything, the error came suddenly.

Im now going to test another account.

I tested my girlfriends hotmail with it and her account worked perfectly. So what do you recommend now? My account works with the crappy app and when I go to it on a browser, so I dont understand why it isnt working in the regular mailapp that came with the iconia a500.
 
That's a puzzle. I thought if you're using an account with your ISP then maybe they changed their mail server settings, different port number for example.

But if it's a Hotmail account and everybody else's works OK and yours did too until recently then I don't know where to go from here.
