Help Exchange sync error

I am unable to sync my work email unless I am in the office. I can get to my work email fine from my work laptop when not in the office, but not on my EVO. This is one of the major reasons I went with a smart phone.

Others in the company, with iPhones or Blackberrys do not have this problem.

Any suggestions??

Talk with your exchange admin ... You proabaly need to have something enabled ... Not being a techie from that side of the house, I couldnt' tell you what that is ... What we have to do is "subscribe to a mobility service" in our company ... what they do behind the scenes is all smoke and mirrors to me

Have you accepted any meetings from your phone? I spoke with IT at my job and they said that the error was caused by accepting a meeting from the phone. Specifically, a meeting that had been scheduled in the past and been updated. I did accept a meeting from my phone but I can't remember if it was an update to an old meeting or a new meeting.

I deleted the exchange account and re-added it and everything was fine.

If I find any additional information regarding whether it was a general meeting acceptance or an update I will post it.
