Root existing CM7 for Marvel on Marvelc?

Is that possible at all? If I was to install it on my VM WFS, what would happen? My phone isn't activated (no 3G, testing, calling, etc,) so all I really need is WiFi.

So back to my initial question... what wouldn't work if I was to install it?

I wouldn't recommend it. There are subtle hardware changes from carrier to carrier, and you might brick your phone. For example, the Optimus S and the Optimus V are almost the same phone, but some of the buttons are mapped differently. A rom for the S would brick a V, and vice versa. Your best bet is to use one of Simon's Roms.
He does have an alpha of CM7, if that's what you're after.

I'm downloaded Alpha, but I couldnt use the market so I uninstalled it.

Did you install gapps? You need to flash that for market access on every CM7 ROM for every phone. If you didn't, that's why you had a problem.

Has anyone heard any updates on cm7 cdma? I tried the alpha and it just wasn't stable enough for me for daily use, I can't wait till the stable version for our phones is released.
