Help Exiting app has to load to homescreen

Hi...all of a sudden my phone takes a while loading back to homescreen after exiting any app....any ideas why that might be? Thanks

Yeah did a reboot but had to uninstall a couple of apps even though I really don't have as many as most but was obviously the problem as it is sorted now, thanks
