Help exiting programs

GalaxyS2

Well-Known Member
Hi this is my first android and so far I'm very impressed but I need to know the bedtime way to exit programs as I seem to be leaving programs running and this could be affecting battery life, I have to keep going into program manager and closing all open program from there.

What is the correct way to do it??

Thanks

I have got used to repeatedly pressing the back button until the app/program scrolls back through the pages and then closed.

The other way is to use the task manager to close all programs in one go.

you really dont need too, if you look at the cpu cycles being used in the task manager its usually under 1% which means its hardly going to be using any battery.

Search for "Advanced Task Killer" in the Android Market and download the app. Does exactly what the name sais, you can select which apps you want to terminate and just hit the button to do so.

I thought that task manager did the same.
