Experimental stock ICS 6.7.230

I think I'm going to wait a few days before I flash this one. Even with the titanium backup, the process end to end takesa few hours that I can't get back. Otherwise, I'll flash if there are noticeable issues with .229.

dfib- I hope you don't mind. I'm going to reserve this post for bugs/Issues for this leak. I'll update it for you.

Here's the list of the bugs we found on the previous leaks (build 2233 and build .229...

http://androidforums.com/4592424-post2.html

Here's what we have found this is based on the latest leak Build .230-

  • Some users have their processors clocked at 1.2 ghz and some at 1.0 ghz.
  • Possible Car and Bedside dock instability. Standard and HD docks have issues with volume control when using headsets or external speakers.
  • Flash embedded vids are not working in browsers.
  • Volume controls for notifications are missing.

And I read over there stating:

"***CONFIRMED*** Yet another leak reversible with .902 FXZ file!!!"

I don't blame you. Hang tight. Hopefully we'll find out what changes or bugs have been ironed out with this leak. It might not even be worth the trouble if you're not having issues with .229.

Yeah no real issues with .229 so far, but then again, I've been on .2233 for two days and .229 for a whopping two days.

Before I install the final OTA release of ICS, I want to make sure 1.2 Mhz is still there in the end, otherwise I load and live with the best leak. I have been saving the leak downloads.

Here you go Thom.

I just noticed the file name (Blur_Version.5.9.905.XT875.Verizon.en.US) doesn't have the to 230 or whatever version your flashing to in it like the other leaks did but it's all over the net so I guess it's ledget. I've heard you can RSD back to 902 with this leak but haven't seen anything about root. Does anyone know if Razrs Edge still works?
I'm probably going to do this tonight but it's the third time for me since Saturday cause I did .229 twice with different SD cards to disprove that being the reason for the clock speed theory.

That's the right file. Moto or Verizon names the file from what you need to be on to flash this. When you see the leak with it's name in the file it is because the person who uploaded it renamed it that.

I read you can root it. Also SamuriHL over at droid forms wrote a script to flash back from ICS to make upgrading easier. You need a little know how (not much) to put it together but once you have it set up it will be a lot easier to upgrade. Here is the link. Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

They say you must UNZIP before install...where the download is in the thread.
Also read, 1.2 Ghz still there :)

I got mine by following the link in the first post in this thread and that is the name after unziping it, at least what it is for me. The reason you have to unzip this one before install is because it's a zip file in a zip file. Don't unzip the second file if you get it from the above link.

Thanks dfib, I just saw that link, I just usually root and restore with TB, but might have to try it!:)

*Edit* it says "Ensure you have the 905 update and the latest ICS update on your sdcard-ext before attempting this!" but I have also read some were having problems applying ICS if they don't use the exact 905 update you get OTA after going back to 902, thoughts on this anyone?

Confirmed that webtop is fixed. No more UI force closes with the stock launcher. I have Charge mode .

Have you tested it with the dock and adapter? the adapter would work for me on previous builds but the dock would crash. 905 almost finished flashing so it won't be long for me :)

Can someone that's running the 230 leak check to see if the stock video player will play videos that you've recorded on the phone? This was a problem with previous leaks. Thanks.
