Help Export to VCF with NON-American Phone format

The People App has a nice EXPORT to VCF function but sadly the phone numbers are sent across with an American format, ie: xxx-xxx-xxxx

Is there some way to change this to Non-American format?

Anyone Aussies got a workaround?
