Root EXT 4 Leedroid A2SD issue

I had Leedroid 2.3d working great with EXT3 partition. Last night I tried to use one of the HD ports which insisted on EXT4. To cut a long story short it wouldn't install. Then to my shock when I tried to Nand backup it said the nand was corrupted.

I still had the leedroid a2sd zip so I took a deep breath and installed it with the ext4 partition. After a few nervous minutes (it seemed much longer) it booted up and is working now.

But it is a little laggy and flaky which it wasn't before on EXT3. I also noticed transfer speeds are noticeably down from previous. Its a class 4 card and I was getting good write speeds now only about 1.3mb/s

I have installed everything and just wondered what is the safest / best way to get the card back to ext3. I am not worried about reinstalling everything.

Do I need to uninstall everything first or not. Or can I just gpart the card back to fat32/ext3 and reinstall everything?

Anyone help?

Yes, just put it back to EXT3 using Gparted. EXT3 has been found to be better performing in some instances. Put it back to EXT3 then try the DHD rom again. wipe and Format system and data first via recovery menu.

If that fails again, go back to leedroid. Try a restore.

I'd probably redownload the DHD rom before flashing though. Sounds like the install went bad.

I've never tried but I dont see why it would cause a problem. However, your data would need restoring. If you titanium restore onto teh new EXT partition, it would definitely work. Im not sure with Nandroid, but again, see no problem.
