Root EXT size and card class

What is the maximum size an EXT partition can be and what is the best class, e.g 6, 10 etc, of card that the Desire can use?

Apparently 6 is the fastest it will go although you can use higher, just not get the benefit.

Have used a 4 and a 6 and saw Bo real difference. Not done any proper tests though.

I use a 10 and it performs as a 6 but my next device will probably handle class 10 so thats fine.

It is recommended not to go over 2GB for an ext partition. However, unless you are using data2sd, 2GB would be total overkill. If you're going to be using a2sd+, 1GB should be easily sufficient.

Don't exceed a gig or so, I have 300Mb ext3. Room aplenty.
