so we have 2 gigs as a external storage anyway we can make that the primamry storage place like have 3 gigs for apps?

This question is a 2 part one. You want to change the size of our internal FAT storage and you want to change the format.

As far as changing the size, you can do it by editing the ebr and robbing space from one of the other partitions. That involves pulling the contents from them, changing the size, reformatting it, and putting the data back. Its one of those things that if you have to ask how to do it, you probably don't need to mess with because its easy to mess up and break something. The 2 places I would look to rob that space is /system and /cache. Your system partition is meant to be read-only. The size it needs to be is determined by the rom you install. Once the rom is written, you shouldn't really need much more on that partition. Our cache partition is a huge waste of space. You could steal a couple hundred MiB from there easily and the stock rom wouldn't notice. There isnt a spare 1GiB laying around to take anywhere, though.

If you try to put an ext partition in our internal storage, it will break some stuff. They (LG) identify the ext4 partitions by their order. The first ext4 partition is expected to be /persist, the next one /cache, then /system, and so on. Inserting one into the middle of them probably won't work out very well.

is there a work around and I would like to know if your able to get root for the samsung galaxy reverb

No, I won't help directly with this. When you start editing the mbr and ebr, you get into the territory of making the phone nonfunctional and unfixable. If you really think you need more than the 1.9GiB fat and the 900+MiB of /data, then you're much safer using the symlink workarounds to have the microSD show up at /sdcard.

And no, I haven't even looked at the samsung phone. I don't own it, so not much reason to look into it. If you want to buy me one or something, it would definitely motivate me. :P
