Extend Battery Life

Hi all,

I just got a brand new Galaxy Note 3. Haven't open it yet.

Just wondering what is the best way to maximize the battery life.

Charge the battery with the phone turned off until the phone tells you to remove the charger. Use the phone normally, but don't charge it until the phone tells you to. Go through 3 of these cycles charge and use.

After that, keep the screen timeout as short as you can live with, keep the screen brightness as low as you can live with (the screen eats a lot of battery) and keep all the radios you're not using (Bluetooth, data, GPS, Wifi) turned off when you're not using them. Amd keep power saving mode on.

For maximum battery longevity you should charge it when it gets down to around 50% when you can.

I bought a Zerolemon 10,000 mlh and that thing is a beast. Lasted 4 whole days on moderate to heay use before I had to recharge

I also have this and what is really cool is that NFC still works with this so they did an excellent job of engineering this device.

What charger do you use with the zero lemon, i just ordered one. Battery and case for $60.00

I just use the standard or any wall plug-in that will put out about 2.1 Amps to charge the device.

Works really well and I've had it go from 15% to 100% in about 6 hours with time left over.

I use the OEM charger. Be warned. It takes 5-6 charge cycles to harness the full potential of the Zerolemon
