extend contract to get evo?

I got my hero in october like 2 days after the release and i want the evo anybody know if i can just tell them to extend my contract another year or 2 years or whatever it is to get the upgrade price for the evo?

I don't think that'll work. I don't believe you can upgrade earlier than October without opening a new account or adding a new line (and still paying for your Hero line)

I visited a Sprint store over the weekend for just this reason - I want to upgrade to Evo as soon as they'll allow me to. I also bought the Hero in October. After looking at my account the Sprint rep said I could upgrade on September 1. I also thought it would be October - we'll see what happens when Sep 1 rolls around....
