Root Extended battery conflicting %s

hi everyone!!

i got my extended battery from Seidio (the 2800).

i love the extended battery life. it is awesome!!

so, i read somewhere online that i should download an app called Battery Left (i read that it helped the D1 read extended battery lives a little better). so i downloaded and now my stock battery life indicated and Battery Left's indicator are displaying different %s. and not just a little...they are very different. right now my stock battery indicator is displaying 50% and Battery Left is displaying 14%.

which should i believe? i've already pulled the battery to reboot the phone...and i'm getting the same result...

any help would be greatly appreciated!! :D

thanks!

to be honest i would believe my stock readout, all i can suggest is try different battery apps see what sort of result you get, eg 'Battery Widget'

alright, i just downloaded Battery Widgets...it is displaying the same % as my stock display...which basically confirms that my stock display is correct...

so why is Battery Left so wrong?

perhaps its struggling to pick up the extended battery, perhaps configured only to readout effectivley with stock batteries, not entirely sure though.
