Ebay sells extra 2 batteries plus a charger for them for around $10 shipped. Depending on who you get it from the batteries can last as long as the OEM ones. The ones I got seem to have a 2 hour less life span. Our batteries are sleek so I always keep one on me if I know I'll be out long.

Interesting - but given the battery cover/GPS link we've been discussing, I wonder what that will do to our already lousy GPS reception/lock?
