Accessories Extended battery not sold in stores

I went to my local verizon store to pick up the extended battery, I have a coupon for 25% off from the droid x thank you package I received. The guy in the store said they dont and wont be carrying the batteries in the store but they could order it for me. Is it just my store?

Damn! I didn't get a thank you package, and I purchased the phone the day of release while being a Verizon customer for the past decade. I just want that 25% off coupon...

The Verizon owned stores have it in stock for the most part. My local store didn't have any but the store 30 min. away had several so they ordered it for me. Pick it up today.

Me too! I was able to get mine in a Verizon store today. It's the only way I could get one. Too bad I missed out on the online orders with the 30% coupon code: BAT30.

But I got the corporate discount anyway

one left at local vzw store. said they'll hold it for me. asked if i could get the bat30 discount...they said no. lol. just thought i'd try. they'll give me the corporate 25% off though so that's cool. oh well, woulda been nice to save an extra $11.25.
