Extended battery question

I wanted to buy an extended battery for my Boost Mobile LG Marquee, and all I found was this one for the Sprint LG Marquee: http://www.ecrater.com/p/13804127/3500mah-extended-battery-for-lg-marquee?sa=X&ei=pj1pT7fhIoT0sQLMndmLCQ&ved=0CGMQgwgwAQ
My question is, will that one work for my Boost Marquee? Does the Sprint Marquee have the speaker on a different place than the Boost phone does? I only ask because I don't see a speaker hole on the lower left hand corner of that extended battery. Also, if anyone knows where to get an extended battery with an extended battery door for the boost marquee, could you please post the link? Thanks.

Well I am not sure if that specific battery would work or not hard to tell.. I would be careful though I almost bought an extended battery for mine and turned out it was like a double battery so it would not fit with the stock backing, that is why they include the backing with it. I don't like that because 1) you cannot use it with a case.. 2) it takes away from the the slim looks of the phone itself.. I did however, find an 1800mAH extended battery with an adapter so not only can you keep your stock battery charged but can plug in USB Device to charge it at the same time.. Here is where I bought it..
Amazon.com: AceSoft Sprint/Boost Mobile LG Marquee LS855 1800mAh Battery+Travel Home Dock AC Charger: Electronics

How long have you been using this one for, and do you notice any difference in battery life? How much longer would you say it extends it for, if so?

Ive had since three weeks after I bought the phone, which was late Feb. I didn't use my other battery enough to compare.. I do like the fact I have a pre-charged backup battery if I need it. Plus I also use a car charger if needed. I drain my phone in probably 8-10 hours depending on what I do. I have a lot of apps/widgets on my home screens so that probably eats battery life too. Even though I kill my battery a couple times a day maybe, I still have a way to keep it charged =). I also have Monster's ROM and debloated it a lot as well though.

If you're looking for a HUGE battery life (even with heavy usage) get this AceSoft Sprint/Boost Mobile LG Marquee LS855 3900mAh Extended Battery+Back Cover Door+AC/USB Charger+Data Cable Accessories:Amazon:Electronics but this is a double layer battery WITH back door cover to replace stock cover, only get if you want an enormous battery life and don't mind the extra bulk :D
That is almost the same battery as he originally mentioned. I also mentioned the double layer and extra backing in the second post....

Please examine before you post, they're not the same, his post was about a 3500 mAh battery, mine was a 3900 mAh battery AND included a battery cover, just giving out other better options if he were to go with a double layer choice:)

And also thanks for your post on the 1800 mAh battery, still rather have a case on a marquee so I'll be going with that choice:D

I was saying they were quite similar with a 400mAH difference is all.. In any case I really was just trying to point out that they are dual layer batteries and should come with an aftermarket backing since the original won't fit. And since you have to use the aftermarket backing you will not be able to use a case.. So that is my opinion anyway. Glad I could be of some help, I know I enjoy the 1800mAH battery w/ dual charging dock.. Always have a full battery if I need it

Would like to know this as well, since this one is much cheaper than the other batteries I've seen. The 3900 mah ones made for the marquee are $45+.

I decided to take the plunge and get one of these. I like my case, and I love how thin the marquee is, but I am tired of being tethered to a charger all day, and when I go out, watching my battery drain steadily as I do nothing. Form is excellent, but so is functionality, and in this instance, being able to use my phone as a phone has tipped the scale of aesthetics for me. One reviewer said she was able to use her phone heavily and as a hotspot, and got at least 10 hours. Without hotspot use, up to 26 hours of use. I'll sacrifice the ultra thinness for that, and just buy a protective cover to put on the backing.

Is there much of a difference between a 3500 mAh battery and a 3900 mAh? Does anyone know what the difference would be between them, in the amount of additional time gained by the extra 400 mAh? There is a $15 difference between the two and I'm wondering if it is worth it.
