Extended Battery Question

I'm using the LAZA extended battery and while it makes my phone pretty bulky, it's given me incredible battery life. Moderate use, I can go 2 or 3 days no problem without charging.

I was just asking if it was possible to get that much capacity in the slim batteries.

No, it's a physical impossibility, a battery that has double the power will be twice as large and twice as heavy. There's no magic tricks with battery volume vs capacity.

This is true. You also have to make sure that the battery will not fry your phone. I tried one that they said it was compatible with my phone, but instead shorted and completely melted the motherboard on my phone (thats what radioshack said happened anyway.) Also do some research on how the overall health and how many recharges it can handle.

I just wanted to share this with you... I paid a little over 5 dollars for this battery.. And this is the results after 3 months of owning. Its VERY good for a generic no-name extended battery. I can easily go 2-3 days without charging... And thats using the phone quite a bit during the day. Leaving wifi on 24/7, Even when not connected, And the 4G antenna on 24/7 also. :D The case is developing some minor cracks though.

Does it come with a new battery cover?

Twice the size won't fit with the original cover.

Aha, it does. Twice the battery life? I'd say it's worth it. Sounds actually like it's worth no longer using my hard case anymore, too.

For $8 shipped? Yep, take my money!

I bought a generic 3700mh battery off of Amazon (and probably shipped from overseas)..

It's definitely got more capacity than the stock battery but not 2x more. (more like 1.5x stock's capacity.) Satisfied? Yes. Impressed? No.

One thing I can confirm about this battery, it makes the standby time a lot better.

DS Battery Saver Pro used to report an 84 rating steadily on the stock battery, it's gone up to 90 so far.
