Extended battery that doesn't require a larger backplate

Are there any good "slim" extended batteries out there? I ask because I have had my esteem for about a week and only get about 6 hours STANDBY right now

running ROM #2 2.2 zvd with plagued kernel oc'd to 1.8ghz

Under clock your phone would be the first thing I would do. 800mhz works perfectly fine and would double your battery life. Overclocking=Overrated

I thought about that but even right now with 1.8 GHz my phone freezes up all the time in almost all apps....should I switch to the speed kernel?

Yeah there should be no freezing or lagging of any kind. Speed kernel is all i will use and u keep it under cocked.

^^^Yep, also there is a slim extended mugen battery but its kind of pricey an isn't all that much long lasting... maybe a 2 hours more than stock.
