extended battery with door released

Wow, 6 hours of screen time is pretty cool. I can only get about 3 hours (maybe) on stock battery and that is with screen brightness on 30%! I know there are battery calibration apps that delete the batterystats.bin file. I have no idea if that will help, but it wont hurt nothing to try it out.

I know this sounds stupid since you probably already know this. But did you keep charging it even though it said 100%.
I have no Idea, i took a nap during the day and then it was at 100% in an hour or so.

From what little I read about extended batteries is that you need to let it charge a few hours longer even if the phone says it is done. I really don't understand why that is but that is what I have read. Even Ontrion's website says to charge it 3 to 4 hours. Most people will just leave it charging all night.

But still it seems like you are getting great results so far, other than that strange glitch you mentioned.

Battery Calibration is a hoax, FYI.

and if you're getting less than 10 hours on the OEM battery, you have a bad battery and contact LG about it.

BUT at the same time, look at the power saver options, apply those permanently and disable power saver mode.

in easier terms, Turn off Auto Sync, Lower screen brightness to 10%, turn off GPS...etc etc etc. and then if you're getting less than 10 hours then contact LG about having a bad battery...

If you can't get 10 hours with little to no use then yes there is probably a defective battery.

However, I can get 24 hours of life with really light usage. However, I will only get around 3 to 5 hours if I start abusing 4g all day. It all depends on how each person uses their phone.

I feel like the ontrion extended battery needs more capacity. I mean the S3 battery doubles it so for the extra thickness we should be getting about 3600ma.... not 2650 or whatever the picture says

There is a 3600mAh battery here. However, it is some no name Chinese verision which is probably nowhere near as good as ontrion, but I have no idea. Buy at your own risk.

Please beware I dont know if its lg and the model number of the battery or what but there are two patterns on the the same model number. One pattern fits the connect 4g one the motion 4g. Also the motions stock battery can go in the connect because the notches can fit but not in the reverse the connects pattern cant go in the motion. I bought a stock oem battery with the right model number and it did not fit my motion.

This one should work the notches by the connector looks right

This wont wont fit I bet my motion on it the notches are for the connect 4g. Look at the corner in the picture near the terminal on the top that notch is not the right shape look at your stock motion battery.

my battery works well, but the percentage of remaining capacity is wrong, it reads really wrong. Everytime I restart I get new number. after a while of use it gets stuck at certain percentage for a few hours, then it starts dropping again.

Any updates from the people that already have the extended battery? Did anyone else get it?

I bought the gold battery which was revealed to be a scam. I wanted it because I can't add any thickness to my phone or my gel/silicone cases won't fit. I need those cases; I stay pretty active and my phone would get destroyed without it.

The gold battery provides stock life at best, but may be worth the $20 to have a stock backup.

After a few days of use it seems that my phone is finally displaying the correct percentage. I've used
an app "battery
calibration" maybe thats what fixed it
