Help extended battery woes.

I'm running apex 1.3.0 and i have an extended battery. Basically when i put my phone on the charger at night it recognizes the battery, its an official Motorola one. However when i wake up in the morning the battery icon is gray with a question mark. The battery seems to be fully charged but my Droid 2 never did that and i had the extended battery for that. Is it an issue with the battery or with the rom?

I have the Moto extended battery for my X and don't have that issue. I'm rooted with the stock ROM. Could be a ROM issue or maybe the even the battery.

I'm running Fission 2.3.1 with an extended battery and I don't have any issues. Try switching to the stock ROM for a night and see if you have the same problem.

I'm on Apex 1.3 with an extended battery and I do not have the OP's issue. You may have a bad battery.

I'm thinking I probably just have a bad battery. Ill probably be exchanging it today.

Have you tried clearing the battery stats? In recovery mode, go to advanced, then it's under clear Dalvik Cache.

I just cleared the battery stats. Its taking longer to charge now so ill see how it is when its done or tomorrow morning when I wake up. It started snowing here so I don't really feel like going to the vzw store to do an exhange tonight.
