Help Extended battery wrong percentage

I recently bought an extended battery for my Droid X and the phone battery icon shows the incorrect %age. Does anyone know of a way to get the indicator to show the correct percentage? I tried wiping the battery stats in clockwork, but it didn't work.

Let is discharge until it shuts itself off, then charge it all the way up overnight before turning it back on, see if that helps.

... or if you're rooted and have recovery installed, charge the phone to 100%, then boot into recovery and under advanced, delete your battery stats, then unplug your phone and discharge it.

Neither worked. I tried charging the battery to 100% and then wiping the statistics under the advanced settings in clockwork. I also tried draining the battery completely , but that didn't work either.

Which % is wrong, the phone or the battery app?

Did you try uninstalling the app?

I have the extended battery and haven't had any trouble. I use Battery Indicator Pro, but they also have a free version, Battery Indicator.

The % on the phone is wrong. The % on the battery app is more accurate than the phone's %. According to the phone's battery indicator, I'm usually at 5% after 2 hours but, the phone lasts me more than a day and a half.
