I am thinking of an extended battery for my EVO. I know they make a 1750mha battery for the DINC which isn't any bigger (physically larger) than the stock 1500mha one. Do they make something like this for the EVO? I don;t really want to go with anything that will make the phone thicker or require anything but the stock backplate. I have a nice case on mine that I would like to keep.
Also, the way I figure it, another 250mha would be about a 15% increase in juice. Would that make my battery last 15% longer? On the days I use the phone the most I am at about 20% before I am home to get it plugged in. An extra 15% would push me just far enough to feel more comfortable knowing that I have the ability to make some short calls if I need to.
I ask we don't make this into a "Why don't you just plug the phone in?" thread. When I can, I do. For the times that I can't, I am considering a bigger battery. FWIW the phone is usually above 80% because I am able to charge at work and school.
