Extended Battery

Does anyone know of an extended battery for the Charge yet? I looked on verizon's website and they show an extended door (out of stock) but no mention of any battery. Even the standard battery is out of stock.
 
They do make it, I already have it. It is the same battery and packaging as the continuum battery. Not sure why it is not on the site right now.

I had to hit refresh a few times and the temporary out of stock changed to Add to cart. I am searching for a TPU cover, no joy yet. Will post the extended usage times the new larger battery provides.
 
Does it make the phone super bulky and ugly like the Thunderbolt's extended battery? Does anyone have any pics with it on that you can post? Thanks!
 
Yes...this is my first day using my extended battery and I LOVE IT !!! let me say that again I FREAKIN LOVE IT !!! Turned on phone at 5am using it my normal use as I do it is now 8:46 & I still have 47% left. It does make the phone heavier of course and thicker, however I put it up to my wife's Motorola Droid X w/ a regular battery and case it is about the same size. I find the phone a lot more easier to hold on to as well w/ the extended battery. While my battery life got better each day using the regular battery I just felt better going w/ the extended battery. You can get the extended battery for $29.99 and cover for $9.99. Please note the extended battery case they picture in their picture is different than the one you will receive. The one you get is the exact match to the regular cover just bigger of course. Just remember you can't use a protective case w/ the extended battery, they don't make one that fits.
 
I'm a guy with big hands so extended battery actually makes the phone a little easier to use. personally to phones more comfortable with the extended battery to me.
 
I just fitted the Charge with the extended battery and it slid into my $29.99 VZW Hawk style face cover holster, note the back cover does not work. I am thinking about some clear armor over the back and just roll with it. Compared to the other 2 4G/LTE phones, this one does not look like a humpback or bubble back. It did not look ugly, actually a very clean transition look. The weight was less than the stock TB without an extended battery. So IMO, this is a great accessory so far. I will test and post. Also I will snap a picture for the forum.

Totally agree..I for sure find it for someone w/ " man hands " a lot easier to hold onto

I'd like to see a protector for the rear covers. I don't worry as much about the glass face since that seems very tough. But that back scratches very easily.

I've also got the extended battery and give it 2 thumbs up.

If you think this makes the phone look huge, have you seen the Thunderbolt's? That thing is a behemoth and makes the phone look ridiculous.
 
I think the phone looks pretty good considering the others out there. Here is the holster that works with the Droid Charge, extended battery, extended backcover (Note you use only the holster face cover)
