Help Extended battery

i hate verizon, i went to their store more almost two weeks ago on the 30th. anywho basicly i was getting nicked and dimed and figuredout that the stores i was going to that were in the univerity of south florida and the other store in town in country back in the tampa,fl area didn't have the deal, tho it shows up on the website the bastards don't do their job. so i ended up having to buy extented battary from metro.

The lady at the Verizon store was nice. I still love the expression on her face when she asked for my phone number:confused:(to check my Verizon account) and I told her I was with Metro :D

She then asked me if I was sure it would fit :rolleyes:
I told her I know it will and educated her on the similarities between the Rev & Esteem...good times!! :eek::eek:
 
so yesterday i streamed at least 6 hours of slacker, probably closer to 7, and used gps and web alot, and got 14 hours out of the battery. i am sure that someone could kill it faster if they tried, but it would be hard. ive got my screen on 30 minute timeout and im on the oc kernel as well.

btw i also got the screen protectors from verizon (wanted 20 in store, told them it was 5 on the website, and they price matched) but these things only cover the part of the screen that has the lcd behind it. so any part of the glass that is black, is not covered. kinda ghetto IMO but i guess for 5 bux what u gonna expect haha
 
Maybe I need to do something wrong I unplugged the phone at 7:30am left it under wifi in my house for 4 hours used it lightly in those 4 hours left for work used lightly at work too 4g signal all the way and by 8:30 pm I had about 1% left so 13 hours but with light use and 4 of those hours under wifi I have an LG revolution extended battery I also calibrated the battery.

for mine it took few charging cycles for the battery to build up. Also make sure you are charging the phone while is on, i tested and it last longer like that.

Mine has two days on battery with 29% with light use and few calls.

just as an update, im at 45% battery after 9 hours 44 minutes. this included very light web use, downloading a couple apps, and about 1 hour of streaming music :)
 
Wow.. I'm really thinking about gettin one now :/ The hours are lookin good on that thing!!

Streamed Tune-In and Pandora all night. Facebook, Web surfing, and a couple of texts. Probably wasted a lot of juice securing a signal at work..1x in the racks-4g outside of the building.

No really -I WAS WORKING! LOL:eek:

I use JD and Setcpu but my battery has been killer since day 1. Ive never had the batter probs people speak of.
 
I use the revolution extended battery and today I unplugged at 730am its 10pm now I'm at 22% left amazing but this is with a mix of wifi and 4G with medium use no videos just text and a few phone calls with 22% I can still squeeze 2 hours for a total of around 18 not bad

what clock speed are you running at?
 
Im not sure because I dont really browse I just check forums a few times a day but I have pandora streaming most of the day.
 
Ill put 2 hrs of browsing on it tomorrow and put up another screen shot. I cant manage any longer than that at work.
 
I love my extended battery it last all day. But Had to make a sacrifice . It makes the phone heavy and bulky. stock battery make the phone look sexy lol and so lite and make me feel i have a real great looking phone. For now i'm going with stock
 
I like the second one that chazz put. Like he said about the hump back whale one which I'm not to fond of. The second one seems like it could have a case made for it easily. The third one seems like a good jump and I like that one as well. Both seem like good alternatives. But I will pass on the hump back whale lol.
