Help Extended Battery

Okay the ZeroLemon is freaking ridiculous lol!!

In the screenshots it looks like it was charging at one point but it wasn't. The percentage fluctuated a bit when I got down to thirty percent. Probably just the OS recalculating the remaining charge of this monster battery lol!

Anyway I'm still going strong and hopefully I'll finally kill it by tonight.

Have you done the 6 recharge cycles yet? Cuz after uve done that and watch what stays on then you could easily pull 5 days

I've seen a bit of that during my discharge cycles with the Gorilla Gadgets battery. That's all part of the phone learning the battery :D

Just bought this zero lemon battery due to this thread. Most of these have not been available in the UK.

Great timing as well as off on holiday soon so wont get to charge when i want.

Thanks to all for taking the time to show this beast.

Charged my ZeroLemon overnight to 100% and ten minutes after taking it off the charger it went to 77% lol :D

Did the phone tell you the battery was full, or did it just show 100% on a meter?

With my Gorilla Gadgets battery, I've found that 100% doesn't mean 100% all the time. It can stay at 100% for a half hour before the phone tells me the battery is full.

Likewise, on my last phone (EVO 3D) with a 3400mAh extended battery, it would charge up to 99% pretty quickly, and then take over an hour (could have been two) to get from 99% to 100%.

Also, I just received my 3000mAh Samsung extended battery, and it's charging right now.

New S3 owner here. Before experiencing how the battery performance was, I went ahead and bought the Ballistic SG case. any idea which extended batteries would still work with this case?

I'm a bit tardy in getting back to you all, however, here's my experience thus far with the Gorilla Gadgets 4500mAh aftermarket battery.

Per the instructions, I plugged it in and let it charge for 8 hours. The first couple of battery cycles you're not supposed to charge it until the battery is between 5% & 10%. The screenshot you see is after three cycles (just shy of nine days), with this being the end result of the third complete charge-re-charge cycle.

I'm not a power user burning up my phone at every moment, however, of note during this time are 32 texts, 68 minutes of calls, GPS/maps use three times and morning alarms. At no time was I trying to kill the battery...in fact, my goal was to mimic my normal, daily use. I also think the larger battery makes the phone a bit more substantial to hold (say's the 6'0, 210lbs guy). I could not be more pleased with the results.

A bonus was getting the blue back cover which gives the phone a unique look. All in all, I'm extremely pleased with my $25 purchase and highly recommend you add it to your shopping list. It ALMOST brings me back to the day's of flip phones when one could go multiple days without thinking about having to charge your phone...Hoooray!
