Help Extended (mah) battery

Newbie
So I've search on amazon and ebay for these Samsung infuse compatible extended mah batteries, but does anyone have one? If you simply amazon it, more than 10 different batteries come up saying they are Samsung infuse compatible and they are all different prices. I understand there is not a Samsung brand of extended battery, but can anyone give me any advice on these extended batteries such as the 3500 mah batteries and if they work, if they damage the phone at all, which one is the right one to buy if I decide to get one, etc? I have a casemate case that's sold at the AT&T store. Will I need a new case because the back won't fit anymore?

I have the 3500mah battery, it came with a new back cover. You will be limited on cases because of the hump back. The battery is great it just lasts and lasts. If your car battery ever goes dead you could use it to jump start your car ( just kidding ). I think I paid about $14 or 15 dollars for it with shipping, buy it even if you don't use it all the time use it when you know that you won't have an opportunity to charge your phone.

Obviously it hasn't caused your phone any harm, but have you heard of any potential damaging or overheating from that?

As far as the right one to buy, which would be the right one to buy? Like I said, I saw a lot on amazon all at different prices. As far as cases, I don't think I saw cases listed with them. Where/What kind of case does it need? I don't want to buy a battery if I can't get a fitting protective case.

Lastly, how does the charging work? It looks like it comes with a dock. So I plug the phone into the docks like an iPod into an iPod stereo or do I need to unhook the battery each time?

Also, do you know if you have to change any system information? I've been reading some posts online about people talking about tweaking the system to handle a 3500 mah battery

What about the 1970? Have you heard anything about that? I saw pictures of the 3500 and thought it looks a little ridiculous, seeing as my casemate case already makes the phone look huge. I saw the 1970 mah battery is the same size as the 1700, so I think I might get that one
