extended warranty ?

Hi guys !
I currently have Evo 4G on sprint and will move to verizon when Gnex comes out
I somehow tend to break electronics easily (not physically, but somehow stop working properly )
So it's always been wise buying extended warranty for me.
I had bestbuy warranty on my Evo 4G.
They promised me to give brand new evo if it breaks but well,
they broke that promise and gave me refurbished one!

I was curious if you guys would buy extended warranty, who would you guys buy it from? Verizon? Or elsewhere? Which one is the best?

I just get insurance with Verizon through Asurion. It's $7 a month extra, but you get a refurb if anything happens to your phone. I think the deductible is $99?

If it is a manufacturer defect after the regular warranty the Total Equipment Coverage that Beatlesfan mentioned will replace your phone for free with a refurb. There is only a deductible if you lose it or if you inflict the damage on the phone. No deductible if the phone becomes defective.
