external keyboard with Optimus V?

anyone here using an external keyboard on their Optimus V?

i was given a mini bluetooth keyboard (about the same size as the phone but it has real buttons) and I can't get it to pair up. might be because I don't have the bluetooth pin #. someone told me the device might not be enabled for external keyboards.

if this doesn't work, i'd love to find something that does, with or without a cord.

Try pm'ing brotherswing. He had one a while back. Don't know if he still has it, but should be able to help you figure it out.
He spends more time at The Digital House of Treats now days though.

Try 0000 or 1234 as the PIN for the bluetooth keyboard. Those are the typical 'generic' PINs for devices, especially ones without keys (like headsets).

I have a full-size Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and did successfully pair it with my OV, but didn't really use it because it wasn't practical (the keyboard being over 10 times the size of the phone afterall ...)
