Help extra battery suggestions?

So, we ALL know the battery life on the Triumph is more than horrible.
I recently bought my girlfriend the triumph and so far she's liking it more than her Optimus V she had.
& i recently bought

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

that for her.
Although its not a big difference, these batteries have helped her phone for now.
but the charger it self SUCKS. the pins never line up like they should, and i literally have to hold the battery to it to make sure it charges

has anyone found a better alternative?

please and thanks to any suggestions.:confused:
 
looks like a good buy, ill look into it.
if only there was a DECENT charger for it.

luckily, i called in for a replacement for the triumph and the shipped me a BRAND NEW, IN-BOX Triumph the very next day, talk about good customer service :D

and i got to keep the old battery and i now have an extra battery door cover.

to top it off, i have2 other extra batteries from that link i posted earlier.
so, she has 3 extra batteries, along with the one she originally had, totally 4.

i just wish there was a good battery charger.

nice did you call vm or moto? and my moto charger it came with works great, although my old one from my intercept works horrible and does what your charger does. weird, i also find my girls htc charger works just as good if not better than my stock charger

I have a charger that looks just like that one.
I think it's a great charger. I can load a battery on it in the dark.

Don't understand you having to hold the battery on it.

The pins are spring loaded.
You do know that the bottom shelf part slides down and a spring holds it against the bottom of the battery, holding it in place, and pushing the battery against the pins?

The pins should be in firm contact with the contacts on the -end- of the battery, not on the -back- of the battery.
Of course they are made in China so maybe you just got a bad one?
 
I've been having issues charging my triumph for the past few months. I try to plug it into a wall or my computer and nothing happens. I have it rooted with CM 7.

it could be a host of things...bad ac charger, bad usb cord, bad port connection, bad battery, damaged battery do to a surge.. you may have to contact VM customer service for a replacement

That might be the problem (made in china).
who knows, i may try ordering one again soon because one of the flippin' pins broke off when i was putting one of her batteries to charge >:[

That really sucks.
Just so you know, mine is white and it says :
Power Gen Rapid Smart Charger on the front.
Think I got it from Amazon with those Anker batteries. Looks just the same otherwise.

i have two powergens also,

The OP mustve gotten unlucky because mine work perfectly. I have two aftermarket 1600mah batteries also
 
Without finding any OEM battery charger, I just purchased this:

3x1600mAh 3.7V battery+USB Charger For Motorola Triumph WX435 NEW | eBay

Caveat emptor: BatteryBoss Calls Out False Capacity Claims!
 
Wife and I used these batteries for a few days and they seem to last about the same as the OEM battery. For the cost, I'm not complaining, assuming they don't fail anytime soon.

Odd thing: the terminals are marked incorrectly; refer to the OEM batteries for which terminals to connect when using the charger.
