Extreme battery strangeness

My phone spent the better part of the day on charge at work. When I got into the car, it was flashing red at me and telling me to plug it into power NOW.

After a 30 minute car ride, it was showing mostly green.

This happened once before but I figured if I ignored it, it would go away

no words of wisdom. mine has done the same thing twice. after all night charges, flash red and told me to plug it in. couldn't do that in disney world. shut it off for an hour or so. after turn on was fine.

I've had it a couple of times. Turned off the phone and then back on. All was fine. Strange...

Mine did that last night, I pluged it into the car charger and it was at 60%. Strange. It's done it once before, that time I removed the battery and restarted it all was well.
