Help Extreme Case of Duplicate Messages

Okay so I have been searching and searching, and no one seems to know anything about this. I have the Huawei Ascend on MetroPCS. I am running Cyanogen Mod 6. Everything is working great except one thing. I will get the same text messages not once, not twice, but up to ten times. IT IS ****ING ANNOYING. I really need some help on this, before I destroy my phone. If anyone has some way to get rid of this, or knows of any way or can give me any info please help me. I have tried every messaging app on the market. I am currently using the stock messaging app. Please help.

Here is my other issue. On CM6. the signal indicator is not accurate. This would not be a problem, but it makes my messaging app think 5 out of 6 messages I send, are failed. So it will say "message failed" even if it sent. So if it was actually failed, I wouldnt know because it LIES. Can someone please point me to some fix to this? It seems like it would be something simple, but apparently no one has tried to fix it. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
 
Have you tried Anti SMS Bomber from the Market? Also I read some where if you call customer service and tell them to reset your signal it stops. I dont know if thats true tho. Sometimes I get 2 messages because of Handcent even tho I have my stock disabled.
 
Thanks for the quick reply. I am trying Anti SMS Bomber now. I hope this works. I already trying all the service things with calling MetroPCS and stuff like that, no help. Thanks for your help man. If anyone else has any suggestions, keep em coming!
 
Thanks for everything guys. But here is my problem, Anti SMS bomber did nothing for me. The messages dont come in right away. So I will get one, and then over the course of 5 hours, I will get a bunch of messages that I have all ready recieved. As you can see its a big delay.

did you reboot at any time? and if u did you have to enter the app again
