Help F6 says "last checked for update on june 5" today is 7/8/2014.

I don't know what I've disabled or done. I didn't follow the above, but I tried disabling some apps on my F6, android 4.1.2 software version d50010h, and the result is that when I go into system updates, it says "your system is up to date." Last checked for update on June5. Today is 7/8/2014. What can I re-enable so that at least I know the system actually goes and check for updates? I would not want to root or reflash it back to factory if I can help it.

hello everyone, i just got lg f6 d500/ms 500 from metro pcs (well i still need to unlock sim to work with vodafone here). i have read that for lg f6 is possible to update android version from 4.1 to 4.4 kit kat. do u know if it is possible & how can i do that?

No KitKat for 500. Check back in root section for future cm11 build.
