Root Fab's wifi fix

Anyone try to use Fab's wifi fix on another ROM? Specifically, on one of JRummy's Froyo ROM? I'm getting that "scanning" thing whenever I try to connect to a new network and I thought I might try the fix as it's still on my SD card.

I believe someone in the original wifi fix thread did mention they tried in on the JRummy ROM (Kanga?) and it worked....give it a try!
