Face detection

It appears that face unlock has been replaced with signature unlock on the Note 3. BTW, Welcome to the forums polaraman.

If you feel slighted, ask to borrow her S Pen.
Other face detection functions are still there though. Tap on Settings, Controls and scroll down to Smart screen to see what they are.

I'm not surprised to not see it there. I had it on my GNex and tried to use it but got really annoyed after awhile. You had to recalibrate with every single change of light and if there wasn't enough light, forget it. I would play around with the signature lock but I don't want to be hassled with taking out the stylus when I'm not intending to use it.
