Face Unlock Missing!

Settings --> Security --> and select face unlock.

I also use a pattern unlock as a security backup so NOBODY gets into my phone and messes it up but me.

Well, I don't have a lot to go on, here.

What kind of Galaxy Nexus are you using? GSM? Verizon? Sprint? What Android version is it on? Are you unlocked and rooted or completely stock?

I think I've heard when installing some roms, face unlock does not work. I'm guessing the user is rooted. You can download the files to enable it though. It's on RootzWiki

Google Apps - RootzWiki

Scroll down to the bottom of GAPP packs for ICS.. The last one is for face unlock.

some custom ROMs do not include face Unlock...i know Liquid ROMs does not just to save space since most people do not use it.

if your phone is stock, i am at a loss for what could cause this.

More information would be great - like the posters said above.

GSM, Verizon, Sprint? Stock, Rooted, Custom ROM?

This will definitely help us answer your question.

Mine isn't rooted and I no longer have the option either after I encrypted my phone. Maybe that is the cause of the OP?
