Facebook and Google Play

[ColinBH]

OK, I'm sure that these silly questions, but:

How do I get my Facebook birthdays to show in my calendar on my Moto G (I'm in the UK)?

How do I register my phone on to Google Play?

I have synced Facebook (or at least I think I have) and my gmail account.

Both seemed to happen automatically with my Samsung Galaxy Ace 2.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Well, as to registering it with Google Play, as soon as you set up your phone with your Google account, you will be registered to the Play store.

I don't know about getting Facebook birthdays into your calendar except by manually inputing them. I believe that Facebook will push you a notification when one of you FB friends is having a birthday (at, least I get them, so assume it happens all the time).
