Help Facebook aplication wifi login problem

i cant log in to the official fb app using wifi, but it works fine on mobile data. i can also login to fb using opera or my phn's browser when i m connected to my wifi network. only the fb app and the fb chat app doesnt work only on wifi. after sometime it says 'an error occurred please try again later'. any suggestions? (i use connectify for wifi hotspot)

are you using Facebook for Android? that application (based on my experiences) is seriously slooooow -.- try FBM! it's fast
