Root Facebook app problem

Hi everyone!


I just got an android for metro the ascend. I rooted the phone so I could delete some annoying metro pcs apps. Either way, I synced my contacts from my FB to my phonebook. When I did that, it should people who were on my FB but did not have their number on FB, so it had their picture with their email address. I found a setting that said show only people who have phone numbers, or something along those lines. I recently learned how to joint the contacts and want to get those contacts back to join them with their number on my phone. I cannot for the life of me find this setting again. I deleted the FB app, restarted the phone, and downloaded it again and it still does not show the people who just had their emails with their pictures. I was thinking about restoring my factory settings but I do not know what affect that might have on my phone since it is rooted.

Try re-syncing your Facebook account with your phone then edit the phone contact and try to join the the contacts. It's a little strange with the names sometimes. I've got a father and son (he's a Jr) and it kept wanting to sync the son's Facebook info with his dad's number. I hope this works for you.

i noticed my contacts from facebook were gone, didnt erase them or do anything at all to them and tried to resync my fb account but it doesnt do anything! WHY? help
