facebook app stuck on loading on everything

So since the last update my fb app is stuck on loading in every screen. I can log in but thats about it. Status page i only see the load icon, when I go to my profile or chat contacts the same deal, only a load icon. I do get push messages but when I want to open them stuck on loading again. Anyone having the same issues or know a solution?
Already deleted and reinstalled the app but no luck.

I am on a HTC sensation

Next time you install it, try Settings > Apps. Find facebook and then clear the cache and data. That may fix it.

It may be a bug in the latest update. You may have to use the mobile browser version until they fix it. But the mobile browser version isn't too terrible.

I've been using that recently and it's very snappy and loads quicker than the original facebook app.

Thanks for the replies. Already did the first option, no go. I already just downloaded that got the push app with it too but it doesn't forward messages

Hmm tried it several more times, the thing is, if i read the comments in the play store, for most people the last update fixed everything for them and they find it the best update so far :S

How is it possible that it just wont work on mine now still get push messages but just can't open anything as it keeps loading.

In all honesty, I don't use the facebook app because of overly aggressive permissions and its a battery suck.

But a week or two ago there was discussion somewhere in this forum about a beta for facebook. Maybe there is a new version coming out soon.

The thing is, i found older versions of the fb apps and tried the versions that used to working but same problem, it doesnt load the status and feeds, so im strarting to think its a issue in my phone or something.

Personally I would prefer to blame facebook.

Are other apps refreshing? How is your data connection with everything else?

Have you checked Settings > Accounts > facebook to make sure it is checked?
