Help Facebook App?

I have a rooted g-tablet with VegaN installed and the market fix applied. I have been able to find every single application I've searched for

Except, for some reason, facebook. When I search for it in the market nothing of any relevance shows up. Anyone else experience this? Have any ideas? Thoughts on alternative apps?

Try running the market fix a few more times, or give one of the alternate market fixes a shot. I've got it in my market. I rarely use it though since the desktop version of the site loads up so well for me.

The app, "Pulse", is quite good for facebook, and other news style websites, which you can add or delete to your heart content, but it is like a fullscreen application. Pretty sure Pulse is free too! :)

I have seen Facebook Widgets, but don't know what they are called, would be interested to know if anyone knows these, they basicially put a box on your desktop, that has facebook updates and look quite cool?!

Facebook for Android what the widget I think I was talking about... I did the Market fix and it came up this time... but I had to look under the, "Social", heading in the Market to find it again it's free! :)

There must be better ones though, the offical Facebook app only shows one friend status at a time, I'd prefer like seeing the last five or similar! :)

i found that using titanium backup to wipe the data from google framework rather than going through the settings and apps and clearing data that way helped increase the amount of apps in the market. i had to do this to get facebook to populate

also "facez" is a free widget app that is much like the friend stream of htcsence but for facebook only. you need to use a 3rd party launcher that enables scrollable widgets though, but i think most people are using a 3rd party launcher anyways if i read these posts correctly :)
