facebook app

Hello, I'm very happy to have found this forum. I love my Droid except for the facebook app that came on it . I didn't know it wasn't the actual site when I activated it, and it took over as default facebook. Links from gmail won't work on it and I can't figure out how to get rid of or at least disable it. Any help greatly appreciated . Catdax
